Governing Principles
1. Limited Government- Small Government is best and local government has the greatest daily impact on the quality of our lives. Follow the Constitution!
2. Low Taxes- Fiscal conservatism and wise use of taxpayer dollars allows for a low tax community which encourages economic growth.
3. Good Schools- Good Schools are essential to our quality of life and our ability to grow our local economy.
4. Low Crime- A safe community with low crime through strong and effective law enforcement and a conservative local judiciary provide the opportunity to enjoy the blessings of our community.
5. Job Growth- Economic development that brings quality jobs and visitors to our community provides opportunity for our citizens and our children.
These common sense principles, I believe, are shared by the local Republican Party and most of the office holders I have come into contact with. At the national level, however, they seem to fall by the wayside in the process of governing. My interest in service at the local level allows me to follow these principles and apply them for our community’s benefit.
